HI! If we’ve never met…

**ok first, just imagine we’re sitting down for a super casual cup of coffee** (ok cool) As a Nashville, TN native- I grew up around music and started songwriting when I was a little girl. It’s how I learned to process the world, my thoughts, feelings, faith, and it’s what I did (and still do) for fun!

I started leading worship in my youth group at church, and it was my absolute worst fear in the entire world to sing in front of anybody, but with the constant encouragement of other people around me- I grew to understand just what a gift music was, and just how much I loved it.

I dropped out of college to be able to afford releasing my own music independently, and ended up signing to a record label. I put out a couple of projects, toured non stop, and had an absolute blast! I loved the music I was making, but every artist evolves- and as I did, I realized the music I was told I needed to make, didn’t always feel authentic to me as a songwriter. Eventually I was dropped by my label (ha) but it was the BEST thing that could have ever happened to me!

After a year of questioning if I even wanted to do music again after being in the industry for the little bit of time that I was, I picked up my guitar & began to write again. But this time, not to please a certain group of people, or to make a #1 hit on the radio…I started writing songs again because it’s what I love to do.

And over the past year and a half, I’ve put out as many songs as my husband & I can afford to, and I have plans to keep this train going, and am STOOOOKED about the music I’m making right now.

I have always hoped that my music would inspire anyone who hears it. Whether that’s about faith, making the most of your life, loving your significant other, or remembering to not take life so seriously all the time and just have fun… I hope that you can find yourself in my songs and make them your own.

If you knew me as Caitie Hurst before, I’m still the exact same girl who just got married, changed her last name, and realized she can’t be boxed into one genre because she loves too many different styles of music!

Whether I’m introducing myself for the first time, or reintroducing myself to you… hey! I’m Caitie Beasley. I think we’ll be great friends! Thanks so much for coming to coffee with me, this was so fun!
